I've read quite a few guides on this and some include adjustable contrast/backlight and some don't. I'm not worried about my wiring skills 
However a lot mention A and K connections for power as well - like some LCDs will have pins 1-14 and A and K. If the display (I'm going by the pictures of the CF 2x16 white-on-blue and yellow-on-black here) has both 1-16 AND A and K, do the solder points A and K just get ignorned and follow the guide just using pins 1-16?
