Wired Remote

I want to make a wired remote to control winamp from another room in my house. I want to see what track is playing and have the ability to skip forward and backward. Programming is no problem but I am fairly new to LCDs. Has anyone done this and if so, do you have a web site so I can view you project.

Keep an eye out for something called a "633". It will be announced toward the end of January and may work for your application.
