Do you have any experience with parallel LCD's?
They are very sensitive, I have had three go dead from the parallel port just from using it (they were all hooked up correctly).
I have been working on a "buffer" for Parallel LCD use. It is still in the testing stages and it seems to work fine. It is based on a PIC that "passes" through data information. This should safely allow the LCD to be used for parallel use, but it is still in the testing stages.
