why a 30% restocking fee?

These displays are sensitive to ESD. We do not know what kind of ESD precautions have been taken on a display that is returned. Even though we can test the display for gross functionality, there is no way to tell if it has been stressed by ESD damage. Displays that have been stressed may seem fine, but then suffer an early failure once put into use. For this reason we cannot resell a display as "new"once it has left our hands.
