what to get Parallel or serial ? real newbie to this here

Im ready to buy one now I think.. but a few questions

Hi,

I have 2k for my OS

1)will the "SKD204-634-SG-LG" work with 2k and Wintest software.?


2)I know ill need some plugins for it. how many are there for 2k? and can someone please list a few for me?

3)I have MBM5 and winamp. I would love to see my MP3s scrolling or a EQ output

4) do i just buy the "SKD204-634-SG-LG" and a serial cable and im all set?

Cheapest 16x2
(This will load two 16x2 LCDs in the cart--a positive and a negative, you only need one though.)

Cheapest 20x4

(This will load two 20x4 LCDs in the cart--a positive and a negative, you only need one though.)

Either of these need an add on of the Wirz or Econo LCD:

Yes.

Wander throught the links page. I know the NT port of LCDproc
should work on 2K.

I think that it can be done under 2K, but I am not sure of the SW combination off the top of my head.

The backlight cable is also pretty handy, and they will solder it on for you, so then it is just connectors.
