What is dual-scan?Why dual-scan?

I am a beginner in this field.
With Dual-scan panel ,Can i display two picture in a dual-scan panel?

Dual scan was an attempt to improve passive LCDs before TFTs made them fairly obsolete.

They look pretty much like any other display from the user's point of view, except for performance.

Thx,I think I know why dual-scan. With dual-scan ,the picture quarlity dispalyed on passive matix panel will be improved. Am i right?
Ok,If using dual-scan panel,will i get the refresh ratios 2 times or I must transfer 2 times data from MCU to panel?

You would have to check the data sheets for the controller and panel.
