Suggestions needed - Graphing waveform project

Hello all,

I am currently purchasing parts for a design project in my university.
This product that I am developing will include a graphical LCD which will be displaying live waveforms on the order of 60Hz or so. For all intensive purposes it will basically look like an oscilloscope display.

I was wondering if anyone could offer me any advice as to which type of LCD to go with for this project. I would like for the control of the LCD to be as simple as possible. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

How large of display are you needing? So you have enough room to work with, but not "too much" you may want to look at our CFAG128128B series:

The Sanyo LC7981 controller is nice to work with as well:

The module has a parallel interface (8 bit) , plus control lines so you will need to take them into consideration when budgeting from your micro-controller.
