Standard Micro Interface

Hi guys,
I'm really new to this LCD materials, i hope you can help me out bit by bit.
I'm wondering, do most of the LCD Graphic Display have a standard micro interface?

Yes.

If you look at some of the data sheets, you can see what the data and control signals are.

What is different between displays is the software command set for each of the different controller chips.

Typically there is either an "8080" or "6800" style interface.

But with modern micros, typically you just use GPIO pins to talk to the LCD, instead of a memory interface.
