Serial Cable.

Hi.
I decided to use COM 2 as my port for my LCD. But the question is that the cable I have is approximately 10-12ft. And also it has DB9 and DB 25 connectors on both side. Is it too long for it to work?
Thanks for your interest

12 feet is not too long for most serial applications. However the cable you describe sounds like a "laplink" cable, which is a "null-modem" or "crossover" cable. You need a "straight through" or "extension" cable to go from the standard PC 9-pin serial port to one of the Crystalfornz displays.
