Problem In soldering ZIF tail

Hi,
I faced some problem in soldering the ZIF 18-pins tail of CFAX 128x64 Graphic LCD.
So, In my next order can you change the ZIF tail type to normal female type?

If you cann't do that:
Can you make a small PCB with ZIF connector on it to change it to 18-pins female connector?
And I will pay the costs for that.

Thanks

The 18 pin FFC on the CFAX12864AP1 / CP1 series is really designed to fit into a ZIF Socket which is soldered onto a PCB. Our ZIF Demo board has this configuration:

Here is the part numbers for the 18 pin ZIF connector we use on our ZIF Demo board.

Manufacturers Part number:
OMRON_XF2L-1835-1A

Digi-Key Part number:
OR754CT-ND

These are RoHS compliant part numbers.

I got ZIF connector but!

Hi,
Thanks for fast answer.
I already have the ZIF connector you mentioned from DigiKey but I'm realy need to convert the tail to 18Pins female connector.
So, What is the possibility of this change?
How much does it cost?

Thanks

Changing the FFC on the CFAX series to a female connector would essentially be a redesign of the module itself -- there would be an NRE (Non-Refundable Engineering) Fee and a one time tooling charge, along with a substantial MOQ (Minimum order Quantity) over 2,000 pieces. It's not as simple as just putting on the connector, we would need to do design work on the TAB to work with a female connector, as well as do some back light re-design to accommodate the connector itself.
