I'm new on lcd stuff and thax for your helps from now.
I'm useing hd44780 4*16 lcd connected via ltp port and I'm controling the lcd with Crystalfontz Control software.So lets come to my problem my problem is I'm missing 4 characters on the begining of the last 2 rows.Control program show that the things are writin on the last two rows are being displayed form the begining but on the lcd last two rows stars form the 5th character.
Some thing like this ;

- 1234567890123456 -
- ****123456789012 -
- ****123456789012 -
-----------------------------
(think stars as empty space)
But when I test the lcd with CFAH_WinTest it works just perfectly with 8bit & 4 bit mode. I cheked all the wirings twice.So someone please help, I must be doing something wrong somewhere.
