OS X compatible?

Hi. I'm a LCD newbie. I am looking for something to put into a mod I'm working on. It's going to be powered by a Mac Mini (intel). I've been looking over the site for a couple days, but can't quite work out whether or not any of the USB models are going to work on the Mac. Does anyone have an experience with them on the Mac ?

I'd like to write a custom program to control the display, but not really sure where to start.

Support for a serial module would be easy

Support for the USB module would be entirely dependent on FTDI, the company that makes the USB chips that we use:

If they release a driver for OS X, it should be relatively straight-forward to get the LCDs supported.

Also, though I haven't tried it myself, I expect the PPC drivers would work just fine anyways. OSX's PPC compatibility layer (Rosetta) works amazingly well.
