Hi,

Just a couple of question's......

Been looking around afew LCD based forum's and this one seem's the most friendly and hopefully won't mind me asking a couple of question that might not relate to any specific LCD module!

Anyone know if the controller LC7981 is an equivalant or can rigged for serial control?

Which is best in term's of B/L's, EL, LED or CCFL.

Any help/info appreciated.

Really want to get one of these rigged up and running! :D

I don't have any problems with the link, you might try right-clicking on it and copying the shortcut, then pasting it into the address bar, but I don't know if that'd make any difference.

Each manufacturer has it's own set of codes to represent backlight, polarizer, etc. The only way to decode the part number is to check that manufacturer's site, or find the data sheet for that particular module.
