I recently put myself on a project to learn something new, so I purchased an CFA635 USB LCD.
Basically, this may sound very simply, but I just want to make my LCD display some input from a Linux OS.
Maybe I can start with something like "Hello World" or something to that extent.

Also, my LCD just came with a wire, but no ACTUAL USB port, am I supposed to buy something like an adapter to make this work/plug into a computer?

And what kind of programs should I use if I am going to be running this through Linux?

Any suggestion would help a lot, as I am very new to this kind of stuff -- I just thought it would be a good challenge and fun. Thanks alot!

You should only be able to purchase s CFA-635-KU (USB) as a package with a cable.
