LCD red on black availability

I cant find a red on black/dark lcd on the website

I saw the parallel lcd's but they are not recommended

What to do ?

Red on black is a difficult color to get right. Additionally, only a few people want them so the volume is not high.

We do have the red CFA-631, that fits in a 3.5" drive bay:

but it does look like it is backordered.

There is also the CFA-633:

which is available now in serial.

Could ne of those work well for you?

Hi,
well, I wonder of I could somehow get rid of the front panel buttons

then it would do fine

its just the pc front panel is going to be customized, and the lcd does need to be in the middle of the panel

The buttons on the CFA-633 are soft rubber. You can just pull them off. The PCB will still stick out in that area but it will not protrude through the panel.

Hmm, ok, what about cutting the pcb off where the buttons are

is it do able to some extent ?

No can do. That would turn the LCD into broken parts.
