I just bought a NEC 17" 1760V-BK LCD Flat Panel. I'm having trouble with the resolution. I have it set at 1024x768. It fits fine horizontally, but vertical it leaves a blank black 1 Inch Gap on the top and bottom of the screen. I tried all the resolutions, and it comes out the same, with those gap. The only resolution that fills up and uses the whole screen evenly is 800x600 which is TOO BIG for me. There doesn't seem to be an option in the settings to stretch it vertically (or horizontally) to fill in the blank part of the screen Im having trouble with. The video card Im using is the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro.
