Hello i am new to this forum, i have one quetion which may sound lil stupid but please keep in mind am new to LCD's.

My question is: i see LCD's which use film to connect from the board to the display like in model CFAX12864A.

Now if i am to take the film from the bottom of the display i notice there is a glue kind or "sticky" substance which attaches the lcd to the film. My question is what this subtance is and if i was to take the film aprt from the display would i be able to put it back in or "stick it" back in?

I doubt it. It is a heat seal process that attached the film to the screen, and is generally not reversible.

You may be able to use a product like 3M 9703 to do that kind of repair.
