LCD bleeding?

Dear members,

Please accept my apology if this is not the correct topic to post.

I have a Compaq notebook and my LCD is having problem shown in this





I did not drop the notebook and there is no visible crack in front. However their specialist say is a internal crack at the pressure point

Pls advise what could this happen. I could be reach at tancc[at)rocketmail[dot}com

Typically this type of failure is due to an edge seal failing. Could be due to flexing.

If the laptop is old, the best bet would be to try to find the same model on ebay, and then do parts swapping.

If the laptop is new, you would have to send it for repair.
