I only seem to be able to get two lines of text / items so far... items 2 and 3 always display "Data not found"

:confused:

Here's a blurb from my cc2_rss.ini

Code:
[feed-00]
url=http://www.weatherclicks.com/xml/CYYZ
interval=240
item00_id=2195998543
item00_section=title
item00_count=3
item01_id=1894137154
item01_section=pubDate
item01_count=0
item02_id=2364755054
item02_section=title
item02_count=1
item03_id=1537442097
item03_start=<title>Current
item03_end=</title>

My feed is:

[feed-07]
url="http://www.weatherclicks.com/xml/52302"
interval=60
item00_id=895230738
item00_section="title"
item00_count=0
item01_id=702724261
item01_section="pubDate"
item01_count=0
item02_id=1853698790
item02_section="title"
item02_count=3

The thing I notice right away is you need quotes. It sure would be nice to have th GUI so the CC2 does the formatting for you...:(

Yep the quotes fixed it. Thanks! Threw me off when the first two lines worked. :D

The GUI doing all the work and formatting for you... will take away the fun of tinkering! ;)

Tinker, yes! The tedious method of adding/changing screens gets quite tedious, however, with the button/events bug.

I think that I would be very happy the way it is, if not for adding a screen, restart, edit, restart, etc.

Last night, I inadverently blew away my saved cc2_service.ini file. Of course, I had just added a screen. Actually, I think it was your CC2 gif screen!:p

It took my a half hour to refigure all my events!:mad: I think I will make a couple of back-up copies from now on!:D

I backup my ini sets every once and a while and also cut sections out of my ini's and save with little descriptive filenames. It helps when I blow things up fiddling around. :)

hey guys..
i updated again... read the top post for details...
Had to stare at your description for a while for it to sink in what these new features do and how to use them. But now it has "clicked". These will alow us to target more specific areas on almost any page! I think I'm wasting it's potential just looking at xml weather feeds! I'll have to look around and see what other neat things I can use it to display.

I agree... kewl
