Issue with 30-pin FPC interface for TFT EVEx

According to the CFA10098 breakout board datasheet, the FPC-30 ribbon cable connector has these lines for GND, 1, 4, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 24, 27, 30.
If I want to interface an FPC30 adapter to a 30-pin header with a 2x15 arrangement and 2.54 mm spacing, is it necessary to connect all those lines to ground?

Can the backlight power lines (BLPWR) be powered with 5V or only 3.3V is enough?

Connecting all the pins to ground is going to give you the best performance as many of them separate data lines.

The backlight power will depend on the EVE module you're using. Some of them support both 3.3v and 5v, some require either 3.3v or 5v.
