I am plannin to do a simple mp3 players project using the Gumstix Verdex (Xscale processor), which runs linux. I was looking for a small LCD that could be used to display the mp3 track info like song title, artist etc.. I stumbled upon Crystalfontz.. n i was wondering if i could use the USB available on the gumstix to control the LCD and send information.. could some1 pls shed some light.. and pls do keep in mind that the SCB has limited resources and the data to the LCD has to be sent via the mp3 player..
