Interface question

Hi, new here. Working on my first LCD project and need a little guidance

I'm looking at the CFAF176220M-T. It's listed as 8-bit parallel and has the 20-pin connector but the datasheet for the controller says it can do 8-bit parallel or 3-wire SPI. How can I set it up to use SPI?

From what I can tell by looking at the module data sheet vs. the controller data sheet, only a limited set of pins from the controller are available on the interface, and the pins to choose the parallel/serial are not among them, so you can not use it in SPI mode.

Maybe CF Tech will come along to say that I am wrong.

Unfortunately I can't tell you that you're wrong, it's 8-bit parallel only.
