Well I had an old Leapfrog Iquest i got in 6th grade never used it so i took out the lcd out to use it as an external display. Now the only problem is that there is no data sheets or any info on it so i guess the company kept innard secrets. so is there an ideas on how to get this LCD to run.

....Educated guess on specs.....

84 x 84 pixels
2 lcd controllers on the back unknown info or origin
number of pins 10

Any help would be very much appreciated

P.S. I did google on all the numbers on the back nothing came up and a pinout would be nice

Ohh out of curriosity I took plenty of electronics apart and i always noticed the symbols RU and KW followed by a number that was printed on the PCB's and i was wondering what they stood for. You can see the symbols in the pics i posted.

if no one can find a pinout what would be a way of expierimenting with pins to figure out a possible pinout.

If you had the device connected and in operation, you could study the lines to attempt to decode the instructions. That would be a very long and difficult path.

Well this LCD is shot out of the sky. But i have another question if i were to buy one of the graphic lcds from this site could i get it to play video at a decent frame rate. I really dont care if it is B&W its just something to learn about.

To push video through a monochrome LCD is quite difficult and the result is not very good. A color or grey-scale would be a better choice, and something with a quicker response.
