ive got a samsung tantus HCM422w 2002, its a 40" or around there. when you turn the power on it will stay on for 2 minutes then flicker, and flicker off. But the power for the tv is still on, the timer led also flashes and turns off. is there a way to fix this? im no expert but i know when the back light goes out on mp3 players etc the screen will go out, but this is way over my head. is there a backlight battery maybe that can be replaced? or what would be causing this problem?
