Help needed identifying supplier of this LCD

Hi everyone,

I am trying to identify the supplier of this module (or a suitable alternative). It is out of an automotive speedometer made by a company in the UK called Stack Ltd, but they insist on repairing their products themselves (at great expense). The overall length is about 2" (51mm) and there are two rows of 5 pins at each end on a standard 0.1" pitch.

Any help would be greatly apreciated,

Sorry I don't know the answer, but I am curious - what car did is the Stack in?

Hi,

The Stack is in a Lotus 340R (there is a picture of it here http://www.340r.net/pictures/kinsey/k4.JPG), but I think they use the same LCD in the ordinary Elise/Exige Stack unit, though the LCDs in those have not been so problematic.

Looks like you have a similar taste in cars?

Nice! Yes, I have a Caterham R300, but she doesn't have a stack dash
