HD44780 bug with clock, uptime, etc.

I noticed that when displaying uptime and or the clock, characters will disapear and shift around. I am using a 4x40. Is this a known problem? Any thing that updates every second or so has this problem. Everything else is GREAT! Thanks!

Hi

I'm having the same problems with 16x2 LCD, first everything is okay, but then the characters start's rolling and changing and then I'm having trouble getting LCD to work again, I have to run other programs few times or disconnect the LCD from the computer.
