Filebrowser plugin?

Is it possible to wiev files and folders on a LCD screen, does a plugin or a program like this exist? I want to choose songs and browse files on my mediabox, without a monitor.

I don't know of any software that allows this. Im sure it would be possable to create a plugin which reads DOS text so you could use your LCD as a browser though. Would have to be programed in a 1GL though which would make it harder.

There are some around, but they are mostly playlist type manager plugins for winamp.
