I'm considering the purchase of a serial CFA-633 LCD module, to be used on a Linux system with the LCDproc software.
Is there anything being displayed from the moment the module is powered up, but before LCDproc starts running? If there is something displayed, can i change that and make the change permanent? If yes, how?
Essentially, i'd like to display something like "Stand by, booting up" or something like that.
