Dallas sensors hot-pluggable?

I noticed in the WinTest program that there's a button labeled "Re-Boot LCD To Re-Detect Temp Sensors" and it dawned on me I might have been doing things the hard way. Are these 1-wire devices hot-pluggable? Not in that they're recognized by the firmware when they're plugged in, but that I won't fry my LCD module by attaching an extra Dallas sensor without turning my computer off first?

The temp sensors are very low power, you should be fine hot-plugging them. The module (CFA631, CFA633, or CFA635) will not "see" the probe until it is restarted with temperature reporting enabled.
