Unfortunately, Crystalfontz' LCDs are a tad bigger than what can be fit in a 3.5" bay like I needed here (behind the 5.25" plate there is only room for a FDD), so I ended up making my own from scratch. The smallish 16x2 is an AMPIRE module bought from jameco.com. Eio.com also has a couple of units that seem to fit. The whole story is here www.ichau.com/G4.
