Crystal Control 1.02 Printing Garbage

Okay, I have my 632SG-LG with USB on my machine running Win98SE and I got the USB Driver installed, and then installed CC 1.02 and set up a simple screen top show my WinAmp info and the date. All I'm getting is garbage on the LCD, oddball characters keep changing. Any ideas?

So, not ten minutes after posting this, it's working. So let's just say the threat of help from someone else scared it straight. Oh well.
