Bought a CF 634 a few months ago and have been extremely pleased with it. Now I pop by the page and you guys have FREE software available for use. I am so happy with my Crystalfontz experience.

Anyways, I am wondering what the chances are of CrystalControl becoming open source so programmers out there can tweak it to their hearts desire.....

I am glad that you are happy with your 634.

I do not think CC will become open source. OddOne did Crystalline, and is now has a thread going on the [H]ard Forums about a parallel version I think those are open source.

There is also LCDproc (Linux).
