Character LCD v Graphic LCD

Hi All,

Researching LCD Displays and am at a loss as to get a character or graphical.

Seems like there is more support and programs for the character LCD but you have the line breaks in the screen when you try equalisers etc. Graphic displays look great but no programs ease of use limited?

I just want a grahpical but need to know that there is enough support and ease of use.

Any info. would be appreciated

Don't have the ability of parallel port only usb or serial maybe what other options are available still really want GLCD......
