First of all, to the admins, I know that this LCD is not supported by Crystalfontz; I cannot return it; etc. That being said, here is my question:
I checked all my connections at least 6 times. I can't find any problems... solder joints are not bridged, pins are properly connected, etc. When I power up my PC, the LCD inits, but not as described -- it does not display lines 1 and 3, but instead displays all 4 lines, spare a few character spaces in the upper left area of the LCD display. Is this a wiring problem I am looking over, or is my LCD fried? I bought it several months ago and just got around to wiring it up. Is it possilbe that it was shorted or something?
