CFAH0802A - 5V backlights?

Hello,

I got a module from CF with a 5V-marking at the backlight connectors.

I also used a variable resitor to test backlight and it was OK at exactly 5V.

So those module with 5V markings do not need a limiting resistor?

To my knowledge, all the CFAH0802 modules need a limiting resistor. I will ask CF Support to take a look at stock and see if something changed.

Can you let me know the full part number and date code that is on the white sticker on the back of the module?

Regardless of any labelling, always follow the data sheet.

You must always current limit the backlights on the modules that we ship which are not the serial or USB modules.
