CC2 fan control

Have a look at the "cc2-service\plugin_info\lcd_633.ini" file.
It is an example of how to setup fan control.

Forget about the lines that have "id" in them... they are not required for getting simple fan speed control working.

tried that.
cannot find 633_stats.log to see if .ini is working. if i change fan setup in the .ini file and restart the service, the fans stop and start again, but they stay at 100%.
who can i see temps in the LCD?

Certainly not an expert on this, but the first thing that looks odd is that you have comments for "fan 1" and "fan 2", but both sections are "fan01_*" names.

Shouldn't the second section be "fan02_*" names?

Maybe it might be an idea to post what you did. It may help people who are looking for the same information now or in the future. I don`t have a 633 module, but if I consider getting one in the future, then this would definately be something I`d look at.

A little bit about your setup and what you are trying to achieve would round it off nicely. This is assuming you have the time to do it.

*Remove all duplicate entries
*Delete all the stuff in brackets (change this to your..."
*Fan no's correlate to fan headers on 633 panel
* check log file in the same folder lcd_633.log
* Not sure if this mattered but Uninstalled MBM

the ID numbers have to be unique as they can be used in a screen plugin but otherwise there is no need to change them i created a screen showing temp sensors but cannot get an average fan speed on the display not RPM's (ie runnning at 40%) anyone any ideas ?

Many thanks twisted, I`m sure people will find the information useful. Someone who has the 633 module may get back to you on the screen problem.

I`m interested in the keys too, did you get those working? I realise initially you weren`t interested in them too much but wonder if that has now changed. I see they are listed in the lcd633.ini i tried them in my lcd631.ini but not too sure of the correct ID number yet.

For your info the keys are recognised in the log file although i have not set anything to use them, i think it's safe to assume once the log fle picks it up it's ok
