CC Hangs in my Dual Xeon system ...

Try:

Start CC, and without going into any settings, find out how much RAM its using in the task-manager.

Go into regedit, remove CC's registry entries (the whole key/folder) at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CrystalControl
Run CC, Add a "Simulated LCD" module, and to that, add one screen of just text, no data.
See if it has the same problems.

CC uses about 3MByte of memory.

I removed the registry entry, rebooted my system, re-started CC and it still hung the same way. It doesn't hang with CC in simulated LCD mode.

Another observation on memory usage ...

CC starts with about 600kByte of memory usage with no screen added.

I added one screen and the memory usage went up to about 6.5MByte.

As I was adding text to the screen, it hung and the memory usage was about 9.5MByte.

That ram usage sounds normal... it does go up quite a bit when the screen config window has been used.

Im due to recieve a much newer version of the compiler i use within a few days.
Ill recompile it with that and put it up for you to test.
