Im hooking up my lcd to a computer without a monitor for a mp3 player and i was wondering whether i could control the backlight for my lcd in crystal control though some kind of hotkey or any other way. Thanks

It can be done with the 633 LCD using its buttons.
It cant be done with the 634, 632 at the moment using hot keys, but ill add it to my to-do list.

Of course, it cant be done with a HD44780 at all.
