Use ePaper Device with Linux kernel

Has anyone used an ePaper device with an embedded system running on linux?
I am after an example of a framebuffer driver like the ones used for for small tft displays.

Framebuffer drivers normally need to be built into the Linux kernel, or compiled separately as a kernel module.
The best place to look for supported devices is in the kernel source itself.

As you can see not many are supported in the kernel, most are driven by user space software.
