Unable to get USB drivers to work

I've reinstalled Windows, and for some reason cannot get the USB drivers (cf-usb-2154b.exe) I need to use my 635 display to install.

Intially, I installed the drivers with the display plugged in. Oops. There doesn't seem to be any way to uninstall the drivers; so I unplugged the display and ran the installer again.

The install appeared to work, but the virtual ports still don't show up in Device Manager, and no software can 'see' the display.

Any suggestions?

doesnt that exe just install the drivers? not the actual virtual ports?

go into dvice manager and double click the unknown devices there and point the install to "c:\program files\Crystalfontz USB Drivers" when it asks for the location of the drivers"
