SSL/XML News feed plugin

Any chance of this type of plugin making an entrance? Just amended the XML stuff in LCD Smartie and changed the devout American weather feed to Manchester Airport here in the UK (no offence guys). Found out how most of the stuff ticks, got the same address for reports as smartie.

mmmm, don`t know if we can use this now I think about it. We`re accessing the same address, its for personal use, plugin hopefully engineered by one of our guys, screen ditto. mmmm, maybe we could use it.

Got my weather for this area working in Smartie, would look better in CC2..... ;)

So I am I correct in understanding that this plugin (and I would assume a couple of screens) will give back what we lost with aaflyer's weather plugin?

Would it be able to view stuff like this:

of course by a couple of hours i meant 20min :)

what i can do now is grab text from any webpage (including rdf/rss/xml/etc) and dump it onto the lcd...

ive got it pretty much working so instead of explaining it here ill start a new thread with the dll attached... (bout 10min or so.. need to write up a readme)

by "check" do u mean the extra buttons on the lcd? that wouild be nice.. currently i dont know how to do that, but ill talk to CFAdministrator (or whatever his nick is... sorry mate :) ) and hopefully he can tell me how to do it...

edit: no it will be later tonight coz atm its updateing every 100ms which is A Very Bad Thing (tm)
