I have a 634 serial and I am wondering if the slow refresh rate is normal for these screens.
I am writing an LCDproc client that interfaces with XMMS and while trying to display spectrum analyzer bars, the bars flicker a lot and are barely readable. I also notice a lot of flickering during the scrolling of song text. I have slowed the scrolling as much as possible, but the redrawing of the text is still very noticable.
Is this behavior normal in Windows implementations? If not, is there something I can do to the LCD to speed it up? Thanks in advance.
