I have a SKD204-634 V2.2 LCD panel with what appears to be a RS-232 DB9-M pin connector on the side. (male)
I wish to install it in a double bay of my PC. (unit has panel cover) Running Win XP SP2 Pro x32. Motherboard Foxconn c51xem2aa-8ekrs2h, Dual Core AMD 4400, 2 GB PC 6400 memory. Videocard is a Radeon X1900XT 512 MB with dual 20" widescreen Dell LCD displays.

My mobo has no serial port, however it has a plethora of USB 2.0 ports. Is there a female RS-232 DB9 to USB 2.0 adapter/cable which I can use to connect this display to my computer and if so, how well does it work. I would prefer to avoid soldering wires/connections if at all possible.

Thanks..
