Ah, program data, that's different from program files 
. Darn windows 7 .
No cc2_gtr.ini file there.
I created the ini file and put the value you posted in it ( don't know if you mend that I had to do that, but if you did I misunderstood ), saved it and started Race 07 up. Everything is now in metric .
