CF Tech Administrator Nov 2, 2001 #2 There is no backlight control built into the CFAH1602B-YYH-JPV. To turn on the backlight, your circuit must supply current to it. To turn the backlight off, your circuit would just stop supplying current.

H heyus New member Nov 2, 2001 #3 I cannot find a way to disable the light at all given pin 13 and 14 on my LCD. I'm guessing this model's backlight is always on.
