Problems with 632

The Wintest runs great, no problems at all. But when I try and run CrystalControl I get all sorts of weird characters. I have it connected to COM1 and I tried every speed. I got the weird characters everytime. 9600 is the one that worked with Wintest. Someone please help me.

Well, I plugged it into COM2 and had somewhat the same results. Works fine with Wintest, but CrystalControl still doesn't work. If have it on 19200 baud, its very faded ( i tried fooling around with brightness and contrast, but no luck) and it will only display something I type in. The Crystalfontz splash comes up for a split second on the LCD but then disappears.

hmmmm have you checked the port settings in windows as well as the switches on the back of the LCD. all of the braud settings have to be the same.
