Problem: 632 with Motorola56F8300

I am having a problem with my new serial 632. It checks out fine with Wintest. My PC (using Hyperterm or TeraTerm ) displays data correctly through the Max3232 chip on my Motorola 56F8300 demo board at 19200 baud. When I attach the Motorola demo board to the 632 via the onboard DB9 serial port (powered through Power A at pin #4 at 9 volts) I see first the CrystalFontz splash banner at power-up, followed by the blinking cursor at position (0,0). Attempts to send data to the display from the Motorola board code fail. Do I need to solder JPC or JPD perhaps? I do not have access to a lab, so am not able to analyze any signals.

Problrm solved

OK...I found the problem. The JPC/D need to be closed, and the TX data needs to be inverted.
