Does anyone have some very basic example Java code to control a USB panel (i'm using CFA-631). Just enough to clear the screen or put up some text.
I have the java comm library installed and it can list all of the available ports, including COM4, which is where my panel shows up. I can get an object for the serial port, set the control parameters, and retreive the output stream, but when I try to write nothing happens and my subsequent read blocks completely. I'm just doing a clear request so I thought it'd be fairly simple. If anyone can provide me with some sample code I would be more than willing to turn it into an opensource project on Java.net.
