Hello, im new to this fourm, i have a problem, when i connect my lcd to my pc, and my external power source the led backlight blinks and the screen blinks, when i send it data. Im using lcd smartie. Would i need to connect the ground to the parallell ports ground? Is it required to ground the Read write pin. I have checked my connections with my multimeter, and all wires work. And one last question. Is there a maximum cable length, right now i have a 12 foot cable.
