I recently got an LCD (the 634) to use to develop a custom application. I have tested the LCD on Windows and Linux and it works fine. (After I realized the spec sheet listed incorrect baud rates for the jumpers.) However, when I hook it up to my laptop, the display refreshes incredibly slow even at 9600 baud. I am curious to know if anyone else has experienced this probelm with their laptop and what they did to resolve the issue. Worst case I could just use my desktop PC, but I would much rather remain mobile. Thanks in advance.
